Visa Requirements
The UK Student Visa (formerly Tier 4) requires a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor, proof of funds covering tuition and living costs (£1,483/month in London or £1,136/month outside London for up to 9 months), and English proficiency — usually IELTS for UKVI 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5. Students sponsored by a university can switch to the Skilled Worker route from within the UK, and the Graduate Route allows 2 years of unrestricted work after a completed degree.
